Elf Antics at DL.Art Day 10 #1

Elzabeth is getting quite excited about the fabulous decorations everywhere (except at home since I've barely started).  She wonders where the candle is in this lantern but supposes that would burn up the pine cones and stuff inside.  Pretty, though.  She also likes the snow, even if it's fake.

Elf Antics Day 9 /3

Elzabeth decided to check out who all the presents are for.  WOW! Those are some BIG boxes!  Some children have been very good this year.  Clearly not Elzabet, though, and she knew it.  One glimpse of the Security Guard and she high tailed it out of there.

Elf Antics Day 9/2

Of course Elzabet didn't think the warning sign pertained to her.  She IS one of Santa's Elves (even if she didn't help with the display).  She decided to climb over the fence to get a better look.

Elf Antics Day 9/1

Although I'm a bit confused at dating these posts, Elzabet and I are having loads of fun at the 12 Day Elf Antics Linky Party at DL.Art.  We love seeing what Santa's other elves are up to each day.  At one of our local malls, Elzabet checked out a display clearly made by some of her friends.

The sign reads, "Santa's Elves worked hard on creating these beautiful trees for your enjoyment.  Kindly refrain from touching the trees, ornaments and packages.  Thank you very much."

Nap Time for Elzabet

All the excitement of going out to lunch, not to mention the sweet potato fries, tired Elzabet right out.  She came home, snuggled up to the kitty and took a nap.

Elf Antics Day 8 What a yummy lunch!

Elzabet decided that it was okay to share, proving she got the majority of the sweet potato fries.  She prefers them with ketchup.  Crispy shrimp tacos on soft blue corn tortillas...MMMmmm...  No Elzabet, you may not have a sip.  What's with these elves, anyway?

Elf Antics Day 8

Elzabet was quite jealous when she saw that Hope got to go out to eat and begged me to her along when I went out to lunch with a friend.  She's perusing the menu but had a hard time making a decision.  So did I, as a matter of fact.

Day 7 of Elf Antics at DL.Art #3

Ahhhh!  FINALLY he's up!  Elzabet says "I'll take a double."  Me, too!

Day 7 of Elf Antics at DL.Art # 2

"Okay, enough of this meditation", says Elzabet.  Let's kick this day into gear.  It's COFFEE TIME!  Elzabet wonders how the heck you work this thing.  Heck if I know.  She's not happy when I told her we have to wait for the hubs to get up.  She put on a face like Grumpy cat, who adorns our Espresso machine.  Me, too.  Should I make some noise?  It's already 5:18 am!

Day 7 of Elf Antics at DL.Art

Elzabet took a break yesterday while I was crafting up a storm, playing in both the Bugaboo Holiday Chaos week long event, as well as the Fall/Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.  Now she's preparing to ready herself with some yoga and meditation before dreaming up more elf antics and I just may take a break from crafting.  Do you believe I haven't started to decorate yet?

'Tis the Season (Final project for the Fall/Winter Coffee Lovers Hop)

It's the last day of the Fall/Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop and I'd planned to do better, but I did mange a final ATC using the fun image by Sandra Caldwell called #2416 Coffee Collector.  She's colored with Copics with some gel pen accents and I've fussy cut her and popped her on a mini action wobble from Hop Sponsor Art Impressions.

See her in action here.

Thank you so much, Amy Tsuruta and Chaitali Narla for all of your hard work putting this Hop together and to all of the fabulous sponsors.  I've had a ball.

Bugaboo Holiday Chaos Day 7

I FINISHED!  Honestly, I didn't think I was gonna get this one done.  It's the LAST DAY of Bugaboo's Awkward Holiday Chaos Challenges and everything conspired against me.  Today's Day 7 challenge is Bingo but you also must use the Friday Freebie from today.  I love Stella!  She's my fave Bugaboo character.  Her snark speaks to me. I merged her with the (retiring) Presents.  It's a good stamp to have on hand for birthdays and all gift giving occasions so grab it while you can.  It's only $1.00 and soon will be gone.

I had a hard time deciding on a row but finally chose the diagonal row from left bottom to right top corners (plaid, die cut, sentiment).  Then I couldn't find a decent plaid that had enough colors, then every Copic I chose was running low on ink so nothing blended.  Then I forgot that the die I chose actually cut out the center and left a frame, so I had to find a coordinating color and cut it again.  But now it's DONE, and I have to say I had a ball playing in all of the daily challenges.
