Simply Steampunk Frame It Challenge

This month at Simply Steampunk our challenge is Frame It.  We're showcasing the Original Steampunks Line and I've used the adorable Little Witch

She's colored with Copics in purples which seem to show up blue in my pic for some reason.  She's already framed beautifully in the digi but I've added a Spellbinders Floral Oval and Labels Seventeen as well.  I love the lacy edging of the Oval and the Label is nice and large for layering on a 5 x 6 1/2 " card.

The sentiment is in another metal embellishment frame with a computer generated sentiment overlaid with a purple skeleton leaf.  I hope it will brighten someone's day "just because".  Please visit the Simply Steampunk Challenge for more fabulous inspiration from my teamies.  The challenge is monthly so you've plenty of time to play long.  Come join us.

I'm also entering this in the Simon Says Stamp Happy Mail Challenge, Left of Center (both LOC and use a digi), Live & Love Crafts 50 Shades of Lilac, the As You Like it Favorite Die or Punch Challenge (their very FIRST Challenge so go check them out), The Perfect Sentiment Make it Feminine and the Outlawz Paper a la Mode Anything Goes and the Crafter's Cafe Mother's or for a Female Challenge.

Dilly Beans Pink and Red

WOW, look at this!  Time for another Dilly Beans Challenge and this week it's to use the colors Pink and Red.  Megan's been a busy little bee and has added some fabulous new quirky flowers to the Dilly Beans Shop.  I'm thinkin' they have sort of a Zentangle vibe and I have to say I was so inspired I immediately chose # 541 Doodle Flower 1 and also #542 Happy Day Framed to make my card.  They were sized in my printmaster Program to fit together and I colored only the the framed digi  and popped it for a sort of Spotlight technique.  Very CAS for me, but I loved how quickly and easily it went togther and can imagine doing a set like this in a variety of colors with some of the other flower combos HERE. And if you love owls, there a a couple of cool new ones in this same style so be sure to check them out.  Now visit the Challenge Blog for further inspiration from my fabulous teamies and come join us with your prettiest pink and red.

I'm also entering this card in The Perfect Sentiment Floral Fantasia Challenge and Tuesday Throwdown Monochromatics Challenge.

Dilly Beans Winter Fun Challenge

It's Friday and that means there's another fun challenge at The Dilly Beans Challenge Blog...literally.  Our challenge this week is Winter Fun.  No snow here were I live in CA but I have loads of fond memories as a kid of building igloos and snowmen, sledding, and skating outdoors on the rink my Dad used to build in the backyard.  I kinda miss that white stuff, except scraping my windshield and driving in it.  For my project I've chosen #515 Amalia Making a Snowman.  I colored the image with Copics to match the cute DP from MME.  The snow was torn from a corrugated sheet and I've added a few pom pom snow balls and glitter snowflakes.  The large flake at the bottom is Cuttlebug, the smaller, MS and the sentiment is computer generated.  Hope you like.  Now go get your chilly thrills and see the fab inspiration by my teamies HERE.  Can't wait to see what you create.

I'm also entering this in the Sweet Stampin' Christmas Cold and Frosty Challenge, The Crafting by Designs Getting Ready for Christmas Use a Snowman Challenge, the Fab 'n' Funky Winter Challenge, the Creative Card Crew Snow and Ice Challenge and The Perfect Sentiment Winter Wonderland Challenge.
