RSD MFA October Progressive Challenge Part 2

It's time for more inspiration for the RSD Sept/October Progressive Challenge on Sparkle and Glitter.  For those who played in September, where the chalenge was ATG with an RSD image, this gorgeous Alice image is free for the asking. For those who didn't, it's available HERE in Rick's Zibbet Shop and HERE, for immediate download, on Etsy.  The October part of the challenge requires you to use Alice.  I left this quite CAS so as not to detract from her and her Wonderland scene.  The DP behind her is from the Gecko Galz Wonderland Digital paper pack.  The sentiment is computer generated.

Here's a closeup of this fabulous stamp.  Such fun details in the background to color.  I've used Copics with a bit of detail with Prismacolor pencils and matted her with black.  My colors are quite traditional, but it's amazing to see how different she looks in different palettes.  Check out my teamie's versions HERE and the A team's creation HERE.  Hope you are inspired to play along.

RSD MFA Sept Progressive Challenge Part Two

It's the midway point for the RSD Sept Progressive Challenge on Sparkle and Glitter and as always, the theme is ATG using an image by RSD MFA.  I've gone a little darker than normal for this challenge but hey, ya gotta go where the mojo flows.  I love the Memory Box background DP and couldn't resist some Spanish moss.  The letter stickers are from Authentique.

This spooky lady is Bayou Witch, available HERE in Rick's Zibbet Shop and HERE on Etsy.  She's colored with Copics, cut with my Spellbinders Labels 17, and inked with Distress while still in the die.

I've made a sort of talisman created by wrapping toothpick with twine and topping it with a large bronze charm.  Beads, skulls and faux wishbone (from Tim Holtz) are from my stash and the real bird foot and feather are Goliath's contribution.  Be sure to visit the SNG Blog for further inspiration and add your entry up top to receive the free stamp for next month's challenge.

RSD Sparkle and Glitter August Progressive Challenge Take 2

It's the midway point of the August Progressive Challenge on Sparkle and Glitter and this month Rick's EDT is using the Freebie provided if you took part in the July ATG challenge.  This little cutie is Helen's "August Mouse", just one of the adorable calendar Mice available in Rick's Zibbet shop. If you didn't play in July, you can still join the challenge by purchasing her HERE.

Just look at here all decked out in her travel gear.  Paradise, here she comes. I've colored her with Copics in the colors of the DP that came from the very old DCWV Summer Glitter Stack.  I've matted all the layers in black and added some fun little embellies from Jolee's.  Please visit the SNG Blog to see more inspiration with the adorable stamp and we hope to see you join the August Challenge.

Rick St Dennis July/August Sparkle and Glitter Progressive Challenge

It's Team B's turn to inspire for the RSD Progressive Challenge on the Sparkle and Glitter Blog.  The July challenge is ATG (with a RSD stamp) and those who join in will receive the free image for August to play along.  I've made a wine bottle tag using Baccus and several of the Bushel of Grapes images.  I've merged the images in my Printmaster Pro program, resizing one of the bushels to enlarge. Did you know that there are quite a few inexpensive images in the Elements Section of Rick's Zibbet Shop that can help round out your design and many are only $1.00?  You can find additional elements sold as sets by typing "Set" in the search bar on Zibbet.  Definitely worth a "look see".

Here's a closeup of the fabulous images.  This little piggy is definitely in "Hog Heaven."  LOL  I've colored with Copics with additional shading with Prismacolor pencils and added Glossy Accents to the wine glass and top of the glazed jug in the basket. I'll be keeping this wine tag handy for parties where there's always someone who wants to hog the primo bottle of wine all for himself.  There's lots more to see on SNG by the RSD EDT, so check it out and come play along. Everyone wins!  You add your projects to the folder HERE (up top on the Blog).

RSD Progressive Challenge 2/2

It's the second month of the Rick St. Dennis Progressive Challenge on Sparkle and Glitter where the EDT brings you inspiration for the fabulous stamp those who participated in the the first month of the challenge got for FREE!  Meet Mr.Tea.  He's just purrfect for tea lovers, cat lovers, AIW lovers (you gotta admit, he does look like chessy, eh?)  Well, I say he's just purrfect any way you look at him.

I've used the version with the sentiment, but he comes without, too.  And better yet.  You can get BOTH versions, even if you missed the first half of the Progressive Challenge because he's now available on Zibbet HERE so there's no excuse not to play along for a chance at the prize.   I printed the image 4 times so I could do some decoupage.  I started my drawing around the sentiment for the base, colored with Copics and fussy cut and popped the layers until I was satisfied.

Here's a side view of the tent card with a better shot of the dimension.  I've used digital paper from the Wonderland Pack from Gecko Galz.    I've added a silver teaspoon with a "sugar cube" I made by coating a blank Alpha Bead with salt (the glitter was to shiny, LOL).  There's also a tea bag charm in the center of the layered flowers top left.  I hope you like it as much as I liked creating it.

RSD Progressive Challenge Part 2/1

It's Team B's turn to wow you with inspiration for the RSD MFA May/June Progressive challenge with the theme of Anything Goes (using an RSD image, of course) and this is my first challenge post as a member of the RSD EDT.  If you're unfamiliar with how the Progressive challenges work on SNG, here's a quick rundown.  Each runs for 2 months with the first month being an ATG challenge.  Then those entering the first month will receive a free image for month 2 of the challenge and a Random winner will be chosen from those who enter month 2 using the Progressive Challenge Freebie.  Easy peasy, right?

I've chosen the gorgeous "So Chic" image, available in the Zibbet Shop HERE and on Etsy HERE.  I've made this for my next door neighbor and friend who just happens to have two gorgeous standard poodles that are clipped just like these two.  She's also quite the fashionista whose current favorite Spring wardrobe colors are pink and gray.  I've colored primarily with Copics with a bit of shading with Prismacolor pencils.

Here's the dimensional shot.  The DP's are from the Sabrina multipack of 8x8 papers from Making Memories that I've been hoarding for years.  I've matted in black, popped the layers, and added a bow of gorgeous silk ribbon and adhesive gems.  I've also added tiny gems the the buttons on her jacket and skirt.  Be sure to visit the SNG Blog for additional inspiration from my teamies and I hope to see you play along.

Lots of things to see and places to play so here's all the important stuff:
