Again back in May I got another new Cricut Cartridge, Doodlecharms. And what did I make? You guessed it, thank you notes in 4 flavors. This time a set, inspired by some ribbon I bought at Michael's and paper from the DCWV glitter stack. Used real sticks for the popsicles too. This also speaks to my computer illiteracy as I have no idea how to turn this pic around, but you get the idea. I actually made these before Regina's Popsicle challenge over at Bitten By The Bug but was too timid to enter them.

Cool thanks

Another Thanks a bunch
Miss you
Wow, this isn't nearly as easy as I thought it was gonna be. I'm still working on my May cards. Got a new cart (Paper Pups) because my good friend and next door neighbor is a dog lover. We usually catch up on Sat mornings on a nice walk but she's an attorney and is crazy busy during tax season. I made this card to look like her dog Bennie who usually walks with us. I've been saving the sushi grass for awhile because I thought it would be useful for some craft purpose and this seemed the perfect opportunity to use it. The paw prints on the side were from a very old punch I had.
Mother's Day

Here's my next card done for my MIL for Mother's day. I used Teardrop and found that it's pretty hard to use unless you use the shadow feature. I'm obviously still lovin' that Walk in my Garden. Got a new toy for this one too, a Cuttlebug. Love the texture it adds and the Swiss dots folder is still my fave.
How it all Began

Since I've only had my Cricut since the beginning of May and I'm a NOTORIOUSLY slow crafter I decided to begin at the beginning. Besides I think it's fun to see how one's style evolves. These are the first cards ever made. Birthday Thank yous using the Walk in My Garden cartridge. I used tiny buttons for the flower centers on the pink one and Favorite Findings flower buttons on the second. DMC floss for stems and a little ribbon. That's ribbon behind the "thanks a bunch" too. I started with 5 cartridges, Plantin Schoolbook and Accent essentials which came with my Cricut (Expression), Walk in my Garden, Tear Drop, and Christmas Cheer. That collection has grown to over 20 in the last 6 months. Yikes! Can you say A-D-D-I-C-T-I-O-N?
