Fairy Dreams at Lacy Sunshine

The new challenge starts today at Lacy Sunshine and the theme is Fairy Dreams (or anything with wings) in honor of a new release of adorable fairies at the Lacy Sunshine Shoppe.  I have the pleasure of introducing Emmilou Boo's Magical Garden Fairy.  We have an extra special sponsor this week, Petal Lu, and the DT has embellished our projects with the gorgeous hand made blooms. Mine are from the Norrland Bloom mix.  I've made a simple card this time to showcase the adorable image and beautiful flowers.

Here's Emmilou's closeup, colored with Copics in the colors from the flowers I chose, with a bit of Stickles on her magical wings.  I've added a bloom to the tip of her wand as well.  Come visit the Challenge Blog and see all the new adorable fairies, soon to be available at the Lacy Sunshine Crafter's Candy Shoppe.  Also, if you've used a Lacy Sunshine image in the last challenge, don't forget to claim your "Loyalty Program digi".  Find out how on the Challenge Blog.

And there's always lots going on at the Lacy Sunshine FB Group, too.  Be sure to check out our ongoing Selfie Saturday Contest each week.  See ya there.

I'm entering this in the Cute Card Thursday Too Cute challenge, the Alphabet Challenge, "P" is for Pretty Petals, Suzy Bee's Bloomin' Challenge ATG, the Petal Lu FB Challenge, Allsorts Sugar and Spice, Wags 'n Whiskers For the Girls and QKR Stampede Things With Wings.

Lacy Sunshine Anything Goes

This is my second post of the day, so please scroll down for my Dilly Beans DT card for the new Challenge.

Here's a little tag I did for the current challenge at the Lacy Sunshine Challenge Blog.  Although I started it using the freebie I got from the Loyalty Plan (use any LS image for one challenge, get the next Challenge image as a freebie)  from the last challenge but didn't quite get it done, it totally works for Anything Goes this time.  I've made a Spring tag using my Cricut for the garden gate.  It was designed in DS using the Picturesque cartridge with the "Spring" header from Stretch Your Imagination.  The pieces were then embossed with the Cuttlebug Distressed Stripes folder.

The adorable image is Gemma's Spring Gumdrops.  Could she possibly be any cuter?  I've printed her several times in several sizes so I could fussy cut her flower, colored her with Copics and fussy cut and popped her in front of the fence.  The flower on her head is popped as well and there are two more growing beside her on the other side of the gate.

As you can see, the tag is quite dimensional.  The DP behind is from an old DCWV sack and I've added a little punched butterfly and Prima flowers to the top of the gate.

I'm also adding this to the 4 Crafty Chicks Spring Challenge, C.R.A.F.T Challenge What Season Where You Are, Art Impressions "Getting Girly", Outlawz Twisted Thursday Add a Butterfly, Creative Knockouts Texturize it, Cute Card Thursday Floral Delights, Southern Girls Floral Frenzy, Stampavie and More Girly, TTRCD ATG Mar 25th -31, Tuesday Throwdown Digi Dimension, All-Crafts Challenge Anything but a Card, Artistic Inspirations ATG, Created with Love Girly Challenge, 613 Ave Create ATG, Whoopsie Daisy Welcome Spring, Catered Crop Spring Fever, Craft a Scene Let it be Spring, Eclectic Ellapu Flowers and Butterfies, and Robin's Fetish Anything but a Card.

New Challenge at Dilly Beans-Flowerful

Spring has sprung, the grass is ris, I know where the flowers is - at Dilly Beans!  That's right, our new challenge at Dilly Beans is Flowerful.  We want to see lots and LOTS of flowers.  Now that I look at this, it's kinda dark for Spring, but I chose the MAMBI DP for all the flowers and colored my image accordingly.

The adorable image is #182 Flower Girl (Scroll down for yours). I cropped the flower and printed them several times in different sizes and flipped some so I could fussy cut more to add to the frame.  All were colored with Copics.  The mats were cut with my Spellbinders ovals.  It's quite the blooming garden at Dilly Beans so be sure to pop over and see the lovely work by my teamies and hope to see you there.  Just remember, you must use a Dilly Beans image to join in.

I'm aslo adding this to the Cute Card Thursday Floral Delights challenge, Southern Girls Floral Frenzy, and Fan-tastic Tues ATG (but must be square).

Dilly Beans Washi Tape Challenge

Happy Friday!  It's a new Challenge day at Dilly Beans and and we're asking for Washi tape.  I have to admit, although I've had these rolls for over a year, I haven't used much of the stuff so this is sort of a new one for me. But now that I've taken the plunge, I think it could be pretty addictive.  I've paper pieced the hair and dress of the adorable #538 Poppy Circle Frame and colored the rest with Copics (right over the paper piecing of her dress as well).  Then I cut a square mat and layered the orange Washi first, and then the yellow in a starburst pattern and cut the window with a Nesties Circle. (It's supposed to look like a sun, in case you missed that.) I wasn't sure if my printer would print on Washi so after laying the green tape down on card stock and cutting the banner, I just added the printed sentiment on top.  Both the mat and banner are popped for dimension and there ya go.  My teamies had a ball with this one too, so be sure to check out the Challenge Blog and leave them some love.  Now it's your turn!

Be sure and join the new Dilly Beans Facebook Group and share all of your Dilly Beans creations.

I'm also entering this in the Cute Card Thursday Hip to be Square Challenge, the Paper Shelter Sun, Moon, Stars Challenge,  the Sisterhood of Crafters Devine Digi Challenge, Stamp and Doodle Spots and Stripes, Oldie but A Goodie Spots and Stripes Challenge (washi is old), the Use it Tuesday Friendship Challenge (washi from stash) and the Left Of Center No Designer Paper Challenge #14 (Don't worry, I'll be back with LOC shortly, LOL).

Dilly Beans Easter Overload

This week at the Dilly Beans Designers and Challenge Blog our challenge is an Easter card or project. I've used the adorable #164 Zombie Bunny. Poor thing looks like shes been mowing through her chocolate bunnies, Peeps and Jelly Beans and is now a bit green around the gills. She's colored with Copics, double matted and popped. The chocolate bunnies were cut with my Cricut from the Easter 2010 cart in brown and cream card stock then wet embossed in several layers to make them shiny. I'm thanking my friend De who led me to a freebie for the Peeps. They were colored with Copics (honestly I had no idea they came in so many colors until I hit Walmart) covered them in Be Creative Tape, sprinkled them in ultrafine glitter and fussy cut them. The sentiment is computer generated. The candy background paper is from the DCWV 8x8 Sweet Stack.

Lots of popping for dimension and I've added a bow to Zombie Bunnie's hair. My DT sisters are hopping down the bunny trail so be sure visit the Challenge Blog for more fabulous inspiration. Have a blessed Easter, everyone, but careful with that candy or you'll awake with a tummy ache.

I'm also entering this in the following challenges:

Another A Day For Daisy Card

I'm playing along with the ADFD 300 member celebration on CDAC and this is the second card I've done. Members had the chance to download as many as 3 sweet images and are making cards for a chance to win prizes. I really love A Day For Daisy digis and these freebies were especially cute. I might have missed the party had I not subscribed to the ADFD blog by email, so if you love ADFD, I suggest you do. I knew exactly what paper I wanted to use when I saw this image. It's an oldie from DCWV and thought it would be cute for a boy. I colored the image with Copics (so much easier when you've chosen your paper FIRST) and used my Nesties Circles and Beaded Circles for the frame. Both are inked a bit with Distress.

The stars are also Nesties and I added some punched photo corners (EK Success) for balance. I popped a little bit for dimension and the pretty adhesive beads are by K&Co. I'm really enjoying this birthday celebration and it's fun seeing what others have done with the same images you are using. You can take a look HERE. I'm also entering it in the Cute Card Thursday Going Round in Circles Challenge.

Haunted Design House Macabre Monday Angels and Demons

Our challenge this week for Macabre Monday is Angels and Demons: use angelic images or products and creep them out as only HDHer's can. Our sponsor this week is The Angel Company, offered by none other than the Macabre Mistress herself. I must say, I was blown away by the quality of the card stock and DP from this company; gorgeous colors and superior weight and texture of the card stock and the coordinating ribbons and die cut tags, etc are really fab. All of the paper products I used in my design are from The Angel Company Winchester collection and although you can barely see it, I also used the Edge Design Stamp Set on the vertical blue strip on card stock. Really cool set, though.

The digi image is Angelika, one of the Devil Dolls from Stamp Insanity. She's colored with Copics and the semtiment is computer generated on one of the die cut tags from the Winchester Collection. I used the sketch by Lynn from Cute Card Thursday and will be entering this in the challenge there as well. All of the Minions designs use the fabulous products from our sponsor so be sure to check out Haunted Design House for inspiration and see what what you could WIN if you play along! (You know you want to!)
