The 12th Day of Creepmas!
Oh my! It's the 12th and final Day of the 12 Days of Creepmas Blog Hop sponsored by Smeared Ink and the fabulous Smeared and Smudged Forum. If any of this tickles your fancy you just gotta come and join. It's FREE and there's all sorts of great things going on there, not to mention a really, really, REALLY great community of wonderful supportive crafters and friends. Thanks so much for this fabulous event. It also just happens to be a Smeared Ink Day where we Jolly Bloggers are challenged to use only Smeard Ink Stamps. No prob. You've heard the sentiment "Snowflakes are Winter's Butterflies"? Well I say, for Creepmas, "Snowflakes are Winter's BATTERFLIES."
Here's a close up of his cute little face and the icy crystal and skullie pendant he carries in his furry little claws. Makes you all warm and fuzzy, doesn't it? That's the maribou talking. The snowflake was cut on my Cricut and glittered all up and popped on a silver foil shadow.
Had to commemorate the occasion on the back with the date. My first Creepmas Blog Hop, but it certainly won't be my last. I've got a ton of ideas left for next year. WooHoo! Now off to Violent Kittie, but before you go, I want to wish you a fabulous holiday and hope all your Creepmas dreams come true. xxD

The 11th Day of Creepmas
Seriously? the 11th Day of Creepmas? Eiyiyi! I've certainly been having a ball participating in this fab Blog Hop sponsored by Smeared Ink and the fabulous Smeared and Smudged Forum. Blog roll on my sidebar. Well here ya go. A snow globe easel card using the fab Evil Snowman from my HDH Minion Sister Teri at Delicious Doodles. The snow globe itself is a digi from Lacy Sunshine. I hope they don't have a heart attack seein' what I've put in there. LOL
I've printed the snowman several times, colored him with Copics, fussy cut, layered, popped him for dimension and added a skull (like a snowball) in his hands cut from the Delicious Doodles Skully Xmas Wreath. The snow globe itself is made from packaging from tape filled with Flower Soft, and Mica Flakes.
The sentiment is an ancient Rub-On and I've added some snowflakes cut with a Tim Holtz Snowflake Die and topped with more skullies from the DD Wreath.
Here's a better shot (sort of, it's late and crappy lighting) of the dimension and easel. I hope you all love this one as much as I do. Now off you go to Violent Kittie. I can't believe there's only one more post to go. I soo don't want this to end.
I'm also entering this in the Delicious Doodles White Christmas Challenge, the Lacy Sunshine Celebrations Challenge, the Simon Says Monday Use a Stamp Challenge and the Left of Center Christmas Challenge.

The 10th Day of Creepmas (Warning, Adult Content)
Yikes! We're gettin' down to the wire now, aren't we? Damn good thing I had the majority of these projects done before we even started. By now you know the whole Creepmas hop thingy and that the Jolly Blogger list resides on the sidebar. Hasn't this been fun? Gotta tell ya, I've been having a ball. Today I've got a little something for my man. You know, a little door hanger to let him know when I'm feelin' "frisky". LOL Yeah guys, you KNEW this kinda thing was coming one of these days, didn't ya? ( I sooo enjoy the nasty comments and hate mail I receive!)
I've used the fab Long Tall Latex Sally from Ike's Art, the precolored version in fact, because why mess with perfection? I've added some festive jingle bells and a Santa's hat (from Smeared Ink's Watchful Eye AGAIN! Obviously a MUST HAVE!) and actually broke down and bought a whole policeman's outfit, with accoutrements, from JoLee's JUST to get my hands on those handcuffs. Cool, eh? I considered moving the mistletoe to a more provocative place but... ahem...
The fab chain is an EKSuccess punch, the mistletoe a Sizzix die. Sentiment is computer generated and although I did not color the image myself, I did fussy cut, pop her for dimension and coated her head to toe with Glossy Accents.
As you might guess, I'll be entering her in the current Ike's World Christmas is cumming (I mean Coming) Challenge. Fa la la la la! Now off to see Violent Kittie. MEOW!

12 Days of Creepmas- Day 9
It's the 9th Day of Creepmas, how time has flown. Today is Smeared Ink day and both Jolly Bloggers and Merry Hoppers have the opportunity to win a prize from our fabulous sponsors, Smeared Ink. Bloggers must use only Smeared Ink Stamps and hoppers must comment on each of the posts, so let's get to it. To begin at the beginning, please visit my sidebar. I've used the fabulous Succubus 5, (also available in the Succubus Set) drawn by my HDH teamie Ike, for Smeared Ink.
Poor girl is pining away for her love. She's colored with Copics, fussy cut, glittered with superfine glitter, and popped. The gorgeous digi paper in the background is from the new Smeared Ink Icy Paper Pack (also available in 12 x 12, as are all Smeared Ink Digi papers for you scrapbookers).
I've double embossed with both the Tim Holtz Tall Pine Trees Sizzix folder and the Cuttlebug special edition Snowfall folder and fussy cut around a portion of the trees to die cut the aperture using the largest of my Spellbinders Labels 13 dies. The gorgeous snowflakes are from my ancient stash (probably JoLee's?).
The sentiment is computer generated and cut with a Spellbinders Fancy Tags die garnished with some blue adhesive pearls. Now off you go to the fabulous Violent Kittie.
I'm entering this in the Simon Says Wednesday Let it Snow Challenge, the Sisterhood of Crafters Christmas Sparkle, Tip Top Tuesday Snowflakes, Through the Purple Haze Here Comes Christmas Day, Lunagirl Blue Christmas, Sparkle and Sprinkle Dec ATG with Glitter, and Crafty Calendar Cold and Frosty.

DLArt Elf Linky Party
My friend Diana has such fun stuff going on on her blog. Her elf, (named Hope) has been a busy gal all month and she invited us to link up our "Elf Antics". I kept trying to remember if I had any elves. I knew I didn't have an elf on a shelf. Well, I finally got started on my decorating and how could I have forgotten this guy? I'm really not quite sure where he came from, though. He's obviously vintage, from the 50's (like me, LOL) but I don't remember seeing him as a child. I found him in my parent's attic after my Dad came to live with us and I had to clear out everything to get ready to sell my childhood home. He's really large and has holes in one hand and foot, as if he may have been strung between two poles. His outfit is oilcloth. My best guess is that he was a store decoration at one time. My Uncle John managed a JCPenny store when I was little, up in the U.P. (Upper Peninsula) of Michigan, and I'm thinking that my Mom got him after he and my Auntie Lee died and he spent years in my parent's attic. Since no one is left, he remains a mystery, as does his name. I sure do love him, though. I bought a huge wreath and decorated it with holly and ribbon wired him to it. Each Christmas he guards the back door and jingles bells as we go in and out. Looks like he's pretty happy there. If you have an elf, why not take a pic and join the Elf Antics Linky Party at DLArt? (She has a gorgeous Advent Calender project on the same post that you don't want to miss!)

12 Days of Creepmas Day 8
It's Day 8 of the 12 Days of Creepmas sponsored by Smeared Ink and the Smeared and Smudged Forum and I'm doing double duty today. Obviously this is my 8th Day offering, but I made it an ATC to also play in the Wicked Wednesday Creepy Christmas Challenge. The fabulous digis are from HDH Minion sis Teri at Delicious Doodles. I've used Tombstone 1, although the economical way to buy them is the fab Tombstone Collection of all 6 because once you see them, you will WANT THEM ALL! I've decked it out for Creepmas with Skully Xmas Wreath. And just in case you're interested in non creepy stuff, teri has gobs of beautiful mainstream digis at Delicious Doodles as well. The background digi paper is from the new Smeared Ink Icy Digital Paper Pack.
I printed the images several times, fussy cut and popped portions for dimension. Keep in mind that an ATC is 2 1/2 x3 1/2" and I have a fair amount of arthritis in my hands. Kinda tough goin'. Truly a labor of love because I gotta say I LOVE how it turned out. Since I was unable to fussy cut the greenery of the skully wreath, I added deep green metallic pine branches from a Martha Stewart punch and teeny adhesive gems to the eyes. I guess stone gargoyles don't have hairy legs or I'd enter it over at the Delicious Doodles challenge as well. Bummer, shoulda gotten this done last week! Next up is a fabulous treat from Violent Kitty, and remember, the Blog Roll is always on the sidebar if you lose your way.
I will, however, enter it in the PunkYouGirl Black Christmas Challenge, the Corrosive Challenge Anything Goes, Anything but a Card (it's an ATC) ATG with a Holiday Twist and Left of Center Winter/Holidays Challenge.

Dilly Beans Traditional Christmas Colors
Of course this isn't for Creepmas! Please scroll down.
It's a new challenge day at Dilly Beans and this week we're pulling out the old red and green. Yup! Traditional Chistmas colors are what we want to see. I've used 2 different digi's here, the bottom row is #525 Three Penguins, and the other 3 are from #524 Three Penguin Blocks. I've cropped the top three in my Printmaster program to arrange them accordingly, colored them all with Copics and cut them into sort of a penguin pyramid. They're popped atop a bingo card I cut with my Cricut (designed in DS, .cut file available HERE) and added some fun buttons and epoxy holly and berries. Not sure if I'm gonna make this into a card or giant tag. Please visit my teamies for fab inspiration HERE and come play along.
I'm entering this in the Cut It Up Christmas Challenge, TTRCD ATG Dec 10-16, Delightful Challenges Red and Green, Papertake Weekly Christmas Creatures, the Shabby Tea Room Noel photo inspiration Challenge including buttons and polka dots, and 613 Avenue Create ATG.
Day 7 of the 12 Days of Creepmas
Can you believe it's Friday the 13th and Day 7 out of 12 for the Smeared and Smudged Creepmas Blog Hop? That's sort of scaring me since I'm so unprepared for the upcoming holiday. It's Smeared Ink Day and I've a fun card featuring the Quoth the Raven rubber set (available as a past offering from the Smeared Ink Rubber Club). I've used the Santa Hat from the Watchful Eye digi, yet again, this time flocking it and using a Snow Writer for the cuff and pom pom for Poe and the Raven. The cool card die is by Sizzix and it all folds flat for sending (not that I ever actually send anything, LOL)
The background DP is digi paper from the Slasher pack, also from Smeared Ink. I've spelled out Poe in Alpha Beads and added a computer generated sentiment banner for the Raven. Notice the little glitter raven dimensional stickers in the bottom corners too. Aren't they the cutest ever? Be sure to leave a comment since there's a drawing for prizes for a Jolly Blogger and a Merry Hopper from Smeared Ink today. Full lineup is on the sidebar so you can start at the beginning and not miss a thing. Next up is Violent Kitty. WooHoo!
Obviously, I'm also entering this in the Ho Ho Poe Challenge at Quoth the Raven, TTRCD ATG Dec 10-16, Left of Center Winter or Holidays, Drunken Stampers:Person (Santa) Challenge.

Showcasing Romance Emma for Simply Steampunk
I'm really loving the versatility of the Steampunk Romance Digis drawn by the fabulous Abigail Larson for SBS. Although originally release for Valentine's Day, I've done another Steampunk Christmas card using the lovely Romance Emma. I've framed Emma using the Cuttlebug Brocade Window Embossing Plus folder, using more of the K&Co Christmas Cheer stack, then used Rub'n Buff to gild it.
Emma was enlarged in my Printmaster Platinum program to fit the window, colored with Copics, fussy cut and popped. I've used gold peelies around the frame and for the ornate corners as well.
It wouldn't be Steampunk without some gears, these cut with Spellbinders dies and again rubbed with some gold. The metal accents are all Tim Holtz.
The bottom little Christmas card embellie is another from K&Co. (Told you I had a wad of this stuff!) More gears, etc. Those Victorian times were nothing, if not ornate, LOL. Please stop by Simply Steampunk to see more images showcased by my teamies. We have posts going on throughout the month. and please come play along with our December "Anything Steampunk" challenge which runs through January 2nd. You needn't use a Simply B Stamp to play, but you just might win some.
Here is the photo inspiration for Addicted to Stamps and More where I'm entering my card. The gold elements really inspired me, as well as the elegant vintage feel.
I'm also entering this in the Cuttlebug Mania ATG Christmas Challenge, the Outlawz Monday Greeting Card "That's Entertainment" challenge (inspired by "Little Women"), and Twisted Tuesday "Cutting Corners" (Fussy Cutting with a Twist of Fancy Corners) Challenge,

12 Days of Creepmas Day 6
OMG!!! We're halfway there! It's Day 6 of the 12 Days of Creepmas sponsored by the Smeared and Smudged Forum. If you'd like to start at the beginning of the hop, the full lineup in on the sidebar. Today I've created a little winter scene using the birch trees die from Memory Box in a frame cut with my Nesties. The fabulous images are from Rick St Dennis MFA. Surrender Rudolph is a gunnin' for Creepmas dinner (don't laugh, I actually DO make rack of venison for Christmas), while Rudolph himself (from a bookmark set I can't find in either of his shops) makes a feeble attempt to hide.
Both were colored with Copics, fussy cut and popped among the trees. Unfortunately...
Inside sentiment is computer generated. Bullet holes are from the Chick's Dig Guns set by Smeared Ink and the blood spatter is from the Inky Dreams Rubber set, available as a past Rubber Club Offering by Smeared Ink (as is Chicks Dig Guns if you prefer). Now scurry of to see what wonders Violent Kitty has in store for you.

Wicked Wednesday ATC A Charmed Christmas Challenge
Here's a little cutie for the WW ATC A Charmed Christmas Challenge. This Sweet Angel is from digi Stamps 4 Joy. She's colored with Copics, her wings glittered with Stickles. The snowflake charm has been in my stash for years. Managed to make this before breakfast 'cause I've got decorating to do!

12 Days of Creepmas Day 5
It's the 5th Day of Creepmas sponsored by the Smeared and Smudged forum (see side bar for full list of participants) and I have the perfect gifty for your favorite Scrooge. I've made a little bottle tag to bring some Creepmas Cheer.
I've used the Tim Holtz Halloween skull die and stamp set and layered it up with a digi Santa hat that was a Freebie from The Octopode Factory and a Memory Box wreath die.
I kinda winged it on the tag itself, but did pop the stamp layers for dimension and glittered the cuff and pom pom of the Santa hat.
So what's the black stuff, you ask? it's Blavod BLACK vodka to match Scrooge's BLACK mood (although I'll bet this attitude changes somewhat after a few nips of this. LOL)
And doesn't it just look FABULOUS in the skully shot glass? Great gift set, (if I do say so myself). I tried hard to put little red gems in the eyes, but I couldn't get my fat little fingers in there. LOL OOOppss! Had to do a little tasted test to make sure it was all that it's cracked up to be...YUP! I think I'll have another. Now off to Violent Kitty you go.
I'm also entering this in the Drunken Stampers Person:(Santa Claus) Challenge (heehee, kinda fitting, eh?), the PunkYouGirl Black Christmas Challenge, and Left of Center Winter or Holiday Challenge.

12 Days of Creepmas Day 4
It's Day 4 of the 12 Days of Creepmas sponsored by the Smeared and Smudged forum (joining is FREE, you know you wanna!) and it's another Smeared Ink Day! WooHoo! There are prizes to be had for one Jolly Blogger and one Merry Hopper so be sure to start at the beginning of the Hop (on my sidebar) and follow it through for the chance to win a fab prize from Smeared Ink. Although I've done a fair amount of projects in advance, I forgot to take pix so these aren't the greatest. Sorry! Here I've used Smeared Ink's Killer Shoes drawn by my fab HDH teamie Ike. (Yes, she designs for Smeared Ink too! Check THESE out!) Shoes are my passion so it should be no surprise that I LOVE this image, and could it be more perfect for Creepmas?
Here's a detail pic of the suede (flocked) and patent (Glossy Accents) killers. Eiyiyi! That mouse sure is messing up my Louboutins. He's fussy cut and popped for dramatic impact. I apologize to PETA and those with weaker stomachs, but when you have cats, this almost seems humane.
The other pair is glittered with real bows (on my "wish list"). No bloody massacre here. That sweet little rat Calypso, all dressed up with his Santa hat from Watchful Eye is high tailing it outta there! "EEK!" is right. So Fa La la, off you go now to visit Violent Kittie. (Calypso plans to skip her blog. Gee, I wonder why.)
I'm also adding this to the Outlawz Friday Alcohol Marker Shoes Challenge.

Dilly Beans Non Traditional Christmas Colors Challenge
This is my second post of the day. Please scroll down for the new Simply Steampunk Challenge. Busy, busy Friday. Our new challenge at Dilly Beans is Non-Traditional Christmas Colors. Ummm...although the DT did some lovely pastels, I'm still in a Creepmas mode so...what can I say? I've used one of my fave images, #161 Zombie Christmas Elf and colored him with Copics in shades of gray. The plan was to use him as a topper for a bag of hard licorice "coal" but do you think I could find any? (Obviously not) Had to improvise with torn paper and a bunch of Glossy Accents but it doesn't really show in the pic. You can see it on the candy on his had and eyes, though. Glued little jingle bells to his collar, too. The sentiment is a combo of Alpha stickers and computer generation and the bottom black icicles (they be DEADLY!) are from an MS punch. Please check out the Dilly Beans Challenge Blog for more fabulous inspiration.
I'm also entering this in the PunkYouGirl Black Christmas Challenge, the LOC Winter or Holidays, and 613 Avenue Create ATG or Gift Packaging Twist (planned on packaging but it was not meant to be. LOL).
Simply Steampunk December Challenge- Anything Steampunk
It's the first Friday in December and that means a new challenge at Simply Steampunk. This month it's an easy one, Anything Steampunk. The team is using the Steampunk Romance Collection and I'm showcasing the beautiful Grace. It looks ike she's holding an ornament so I went with a Christmas theme. The DP and chipboard frame and sentiment are all from the VERY old K&Co Christmas Cheer line. I loved the vintage feel to this line so much that I bought several stacks TONS of coordinating stuff. The line of gears was cut with my Cricut from the Gears set on Cricut Craftroom. I'd cut them in matte silver but grunged them up with some gold Rub 'n Buff, black Distress Ink and Frantage embossing powder. So cool! the other single gear is a Sizzix die. Of course I added a ton of metal mini gears from Tim Holtz. I should buy stock in these for sure. The metal screws are from 7 Gypsys? (I think)
Grace is colored with Copics, fussy cut and popped. I had a hard time finding paper for inside the frame. Nothing looked right but leaving it open didn't either.
I get a boatload of catalogs this time of year and on my desk was the cover of one I'd ripped off because I thought I might use the paper. The color seemed right so I carefully ( Ha!) cut out a piece to fit. Too dull, so I embossed it and used gold Rub 'n Buff (my new fave thing) et viola!
Here's the dimensional shot. Quite a lot of popping going on and it's pretty heavy, too. Guess this one's gonna be hand delivered. Please visit Simply Steampunk and check out the fabulous work by my teamies and come play alog. this challenge will run through Jan 2nd.
I'm also entering this in the Little Miss Muffet You've Been Framed Challenge, Add a Little Dazzle Embossing Challenge, Rhedd and Rosie's Use Old Stash Challenge (DP, frame and sentiment sticker), the Outlawz Twisted Thursday Bingo Challenge (using glitter or sparkles, stamped/digi image, and patterned paper), Clear it Out Anything Goes with a Stash Item (DP, frame and sticker sentiment), Craft Room Vintage Christmas Challenge, TTRCD ATG Dec 3-9and The Corrosive Challenge Happy Holidays.

Smeared and Smudged 12 Days of Creepmas Day 3 and Ike's World It Feels Like Winter Challenge
What a difference a day makes. Two days ago we were still in the high 60's and today...BBBRRR... Welcome to Day 3 of the 12 Days of Creepmas sponsored by the Smeared and Smudged forum. I had another project planned for today, but the change in the weather and the fact that I've been wanting to play in my HDH DT sister Ike's World Challenge made me switch gears. The current challenge is there is It Feels Like Winter (Yup, it sure does!) and the fact that Ike has some FABULOUS images that work well with the whole Creepmas theme resulted in this card. (BTW, she does beautiful traditional images of all sorts as well. Follow that Fabulous images link).
This gorgeous gal is Sinful Beauty. She's colored with Copics, fussy cut and popped within a fab Memory Box die cut snowflake concoction. Obviously she packs her own heat.
I've made a tent card with all sorts of frosty elements including glittered icicles from an MS punch, another Memory Box hanging snowflake die with bow, some acrylic glittered snowflakes and a computer generated sentiment (Warm Winter Wishes) on a Spellbinders fancy label. Have to say I'm feeling warmer already. Now off you go to Violent Kittie but if you get lost, please check the sidebar for the full Blog Roll.
I'm also entering this in the Left of Center Challenge using the LOC theme and SweetPea Stampers "It's Cold Outside".

Outlawz Sunday CAS Angel Challenge
You can breathe a sigh of relief today. Here's a short, sweet respite from Creepmas. This week's Outlawz Sunday CAS Challenge is Angels. See, I do play along with the challenge, even when I'm not GDT. LOL Best thing about CAS is they go together quickly (providing you have an idea). I planned to make this a one layer card using digi's from the AFD's December 2012 Club kit. (The club is no longer operating and I can't seem to find the images in the shop, oh well) Even colored the image minimally with Copics to avoid bleed through ('cause I use cheap card stock) but finally decided it need a border to look more finished. I arranged my digi's and sentiment in my Printmaster Platinum Program and used different shades of blue to print. Then I embossed the card blank with a my Cuttlebug (don't remember the name of the folder and can't find it on my messy desk (big surprise). By saving the file I can easily print multiples and it's flat with no embellies and A2 size so they'd be inexpensive to mail. Now if I could only get over my postal phobia...
I'm also adding this to the Addicted to Stamps and more CAS Challenge, Crafty Cardmakers CAS, and Flutter by Wednesdays Any Winged Creature.

Creepmas Day 2! Smeared Ink Day!
It's day 2 of the Smeared and Smudge's 12 Days of Creepmas and it's a Smeared Ink Day, meaning that if we Jolly Bloggers choose to use only Smeared Ink Stamps, there's a chance at the end for an additional prize. Merry Hoppers can win too, so check out Terra's Blog for the deets. Woohoo! I've made an ornament using a recycled ribbon spool and Smeared Ink's Watchful Eye. The sentiment is from the Li'l Grumpies Digi set. If I had kids, I'd hang this baby eye level on the tree to keep them in line all month. LOL Santa skullie was printed several times, fussy cut and popped for dimension. Couldn't resist a fab google eye. His hat is flocked with a trimmed marabou cuff and pom pom.
The circle coverings were cut with my Nesties and I've wound some tinsel around the spool and added a bow to the hanging loop. Just a reminder that the entire Creepmas line up is on my sidebar, in case you get lost or want to start at the beginning. Next up is Violent Kittie. HeeHee!
I'm also entering this in the Simon Says Wednesday Anything Goes Challenge, Country View Crafts Bah Humbug! Challenge, the Cheerful Stamp Pad Let's Decorate Challenge.
