Erf rushed in, eager to show the girls his photo with Grinchy but they were intently working away.
Suzie was teaching them the art of making teddies from, of all things, pipe cleaners! She figured it would be the fastest way for them to be made, considering it was so close to Christmas and THERE WERE STILL NO TOYS! They turn out cute and fuzzy and only take 2 pipe cleaners apiece to make. WOW!
Each elf had already made a body and Suzie was explaining how to add features and finish them off with a bow. Aren't they cute?
Feenix was already choosing material for her next one. No surprise it would be candy striped. Not sure how that will go, but...
I had planned to post this earlier with a link to the video I used, but it's in a FB Group called Dollhouse miniatures made from everyday things, a private Group, so I couldn't. There are lots of videos on YouTube, if you're inclined, though. I just didn't have time to preview them.
It's getting close to Christmas so you'd better hurry if you'd like to join in the 9th Annual Elf Antics Linky Party at DL.Art.
OMGoodness, the cuteness! These miniature teddy bears from pipe cleaners are precious! I have never seen anything like that before! Your props are as cute as your elves and pixies! So enjoying your posts!
ReplyDeleteThey are so cute! That would be a fun project. I'll have to look it up. At least there will be teddy bears for Christmas if the toys don't arrive.

Wow, so did you actually make these tiny pipecleaner Teddy bears?! They are so adorable, and I love miniatures so am going to try Googling the instructions. Erf's photo with Grinchy turned out so cute and I'm happy to hear that he went through with it. No one should be sad at Christmas if we can help it!
