Aurora Wings No Lines or Color Bingo

Our new Challenge begins today at Aurora Wings and this time you have a choice of No Lines or Color Bingo.

 

 

Obviously I've opted for the Color Bingo, using White/Red/Bue.  Figured my learning curve was WAY too long to try the cool No Lines effect, although we have a wonderful tut on the Challenge Blog by teamie Alyce if you'd like to give it a try.

I've used the Sizzix Accordian Flip Album die for my card and each panel holds a different Sprite.  Each is colored with Copics and mounted on a DP mat cut with my Spellbinder's Labels One.  Here's Strawberry Sprite.

And Blueberry Sprite.  I thought the combo of gingham and bandana patternes looked just like a summer picnic.  The sentiment was done with Alpha Beads.

Dilly Beans Mermaids!

It's Friday and time for another Dilly Beans challenge and this time it's MERMAIDS!  Don'tcha just love 'em?  Megan's got gobs of adorable ones in her SHOP so you'll be just spoilt for choice. (OOOh, my UK buddies are rubbing off on me, LOL)  I've had this fun funky DP for years and never could figure out quite how to use it.  Thought it would be perfect for the challenge so I decided Megan's very first, #224 Mermaid (scroll down to find her) because she so totally looked at home in this scene.

She's colored with Copics, fussy cut and popped.  The little fishies are brads and an eyelet crab is dancing at the bottom among the shells (a Martha Stewart punch.)  The sentiment is computer generated and I've framed the words with gel pen.  Just wait 'til you see the fabulous work of my teamies!  they've truly outdone themselves this week so be sure to stop my the Dilly Beans Challenge Blog to check them out.  Can't wait to see what you come up with but please remember a Dilly Beans image is required.

Spring has Sprung!

Looking out the window here it's evident Spring has sprung, so we're celebrating the season at Dilly Beans with Spring inspired cards this week.  Here we have #351 Amalia and Butterflies Framed gazing up at #529 Grandpa's Flower.  For a little play on words, I made a spring for the stem by winding green wire around a skewer, then fussy cut and attached the leaves behind.  The bloom is layered and popped on an action wobble.  You tired of my Alpha Beads yet?  Me neither.  LOL  Be sure and pop by Dilly Beans to see more Spring inspired cards from my DT sisters and how about joining us this week?  We'd love to have you.

New Release, Zoe and Friends at Papelitos Stamps, a Giveaway and Some Challenges
