So where is Erf? Well, he'd gotten a special request from Santa to go and search for some new members for the reindeer team. On the way to the lake he encountered a Shoohoo (cousins to elves, fairies, Crickets and the like) named Peregrine, who suggested he wait by the not yet frozen over water and wait for the reindeer to come and drink. "But what about the little deer, already in my care left behind near the shed?" Erf asked. (He was totally unaware that Feenix and Rowan had already gone looking for him.)"Oh, no worries," said Peregrine, "I'll send my twin Cricket cousins Wrascal and Wrebel to take care of them until you get back." And so he did. They're ALL joining in the 8th Annual Elf Antics Linky Party at DL.Art.
Good to know that Erf hadn't forgotten about the deer in his care. They mustn't have quite got there (or gone for a walk) when Rowan and Feenix thought the deer weren't being looked after. I hope he finds some more reindeer that would like to go and work with Santa. Wrascal and Wrebel look like they are taking good care of the deer for Erf.
ReplyDeleteWow, what awesome displays you have, Donna! The little girl in me wants to play with the Cricket cousins and reindeer - they are so cute!!!
ReplyDeleteOH MY GOSH...these scenes are amazing! That lake with little waterfall and the little deer are the perfect elf accessories. I'm going to show my two daughters these scenes later today and their eyes will be huge!
ReplyDeleteLooks like the deer are in good hands with the Cricket Cousins, thanks to Peregrine.
That waterfall! That pond! Those deer and the beautiful twins! I feel as if I've entered a magical, miniature world and I'll have to take more time to see every detail later on. What an impressive display you must have Donna.
