Dilly Beans Worn, Torn and Distressed

This week's challenge at Dilly Beans is Worn, Torn and Distressed.  I have to admit, I struggle with distressing.  I'm kind of a "if it ain't perfect, I'm tossing it gal".  Don't get me wrong, I love the look, but when I do it, especially in conjunction with a pretty or cute image, it looks more chewed and spit out than artsy.  I finally did come up with an idea, though.  And bein' a little dude wrapped in rags, I mean... kind of a no brainer.  Meet #180 Mummy and Spider Love Candy.
I printed Mummy 4 times on white card stock once on striped and inked him with Distress.  Then I set out to rip him a part and piece him back together. (A bit challenging, but they, that's what this is about).  He certianly looks distressed, eh?  Then I cut him out and attached him to another print that I'd inked and fussy cut the striped frame and little spider and added that too.
Spidey and the giant lolly are popped for dimension and the "Halloween candy" as well as the DP are from MS.  A little twine and some Rain Dot bats, and there ya go.  My teamies have a whole lot of inspiration at the Dilly Beans Challenge Blog so pop on over and take a gander.

And we're celebrating Dilly Bean's one year birthday at the SHOP with a buy 3 get one free, or buy 10 get 10 free, NO LIMITS!  WooHoo!  Ya gotta go over and see the fab new robots release too.  Super cute!  Have a great weekend!  xx

I'm also entering this in the Totally Papercrafts Frame It Challenge.
