BBTB2 Fabulous Finds Hinge and Shelly's Images

This week at BBTB2 the Design Team has the pleasure of working with Shelly's Images digital stamps in conjunction with any of the hinges on Fabulous Finds. All of the images are hand drawn by Shelly herself and it's no surprise that I chose the Wine Basket. My DH and I love to picnic at the local wineries or bring picnics on our hikes (of course complete with wine, I need some reward for tromping around in the wilderness!) LOL I decided to make a little notebook to jot down picnic recipes. The base is cut in Kraft and I used my Nestie Petite Ovals to cut the window in the mat. The image is colored with Copics. The frame is also cut with my Nesties Oval and Lables 10 out of corrigated cardboard. The title is computer generated on the banner from the Wedding cart. The metal corners are Tim Holtz. Please stop by BBTB2 and check out the fabulous creation from my DT sisters and take a look at the wide variety of stamps available at Shelly's Images.

  7. What an adorable little notebook! What a great idea to keep track of the places you love to go. I'm not a wine drinker (Gasp!) LOL I have tried to like it but never aquired a taste for it, and I even lived in Temecula Calif for about 10 years where all the wineries were,(lived right in between 2 wineries even) and been to many tasting but it never grabbed me as something I like, LOL! Now don't get me wrong I like a good drink with some good rum in it once in awhile! LOL Anyway, always love your creations, even all the bizarre one, and bizarre meaning good! LOL

  9. Love your little book, Donna!

My hubby also loves attending wineries and drags me along eventhough I don't drink. He considers himself somewhat of a wine connisseur (spelling?)-- he falls asleep after his second drink LOL! Anyway we also attend several yearly wine fests and take along a picnic basket, so this little book I could probably relate to.

  12. Cute idea, Donna! The corrugated cardboard gives it some great texture and now you've got me digging in my piles for those corners!
