It's the final preview day of the new Fashionista Lil Lolitas at Tickled Pink Stamps and you're meeting Sookie for the very first time! She's an 80's girl and she just wants to have FUN!
She's a real star so that's how I portrayed her. I colored her with Copics in the colors of the day and added some wild pink streaks to her hair. All of the stars are cut with my Spellbinders Nested stars dies out of glitter and foil cardstock. The star border is an EK Success punch and the DP is DCWV Nana's Kids. Lots of 80's bling too!
There's just a it of dimension highlighting FAB Sookie and the adhesive stars are from Darice. Now just wait 'til you see the fabulous creations from the Pink Ladies. They're all so TALENTED! So do you wanna win Sookie? Just pop on over to Tickled Pink Stamps and leave a comment on today's post for a chance to win her and if you'd like to win the ENTIRE new release, follow the instructions and you could have them all! Presale begins SOON, and remember, Tickled Pink Stamps ships WORLDWIDE (stamps only) so no one misses out on these adorable girls.
what a fantastic card Donna. I love the star theme and the star frame around Sookie!
ReplyDeleteHi Donna. What a great card. I love the colors that you have used and the whole design of your card. It just makes you think of all the fun things that we did in the 80's and thought that we were COOL doing them. lol...Hugs, Lisa G
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love it! As a "child of the 80s" this is right up my alley. Great coloring and details. TFS.
ReplyDeleteHi Donna, thank you for the lovely comment on my carrot tops journal page. Your blog is fab!! Masking is really really easy all you need is post it notes or eclipse masking paper (comes in a big roll that will last forever). Stamp image onto the post it note (over the sticky bit)/masking paper cut it out. On your project stamp the image you want to be in front and mask it off with the part you just cut out then stamp your next image and rinse repeat!! That image is really hard to cut out and i had to make 5 masks for it LOL had finger ache after!!
