Gecko Galz FB Challenges.
Every month there are six different challenges on the Gecko Galz Papercrafting Challenge Group on FB. Here are my entries for a few of them. A male card for the Cruise the High Seas Challenge using image from the GG Olde World Maps collage set and Digi Paper from the Sea Side Splendor Digital Craft Kit.
I've layered them on matte metallic and gauze paper and distressed and inked the edges. Added a compass and metal word band from Tim Holtz and an anchor charm threaded with knotted rope.
I'm entering this in the Papertake Weekly Take Your Pick challenge using the Technique theme Vintage/Distressing.
This one is for the By the Sea Challenge using a freebie image from Gecko Galz on Pinterest and fussy cut elements from the Sea Side Splendor Digital Craft Kit. I obviously am having a thing for rope. LOL Leanne Seed, the owner of Gecko Galz also doesn't monthly challenges on her Fripperies and Butterflies Blog and this month it's a Color Challenge. I'm entering this there, as well.
And finally a bookmark done digitally using an image from the GG (okay, I'm having a senior moment, I just did this yesterday and can't remember where the center image came from. One of the Jewel It sets, but...) The books behind are from Go Make Something. Sentiment and all layers done in my Printmaster Platinum program. Then I just cut it out and added ribbon and a button to the top.

Gecko Galz Summer Cheesecake Challenge
I've been a member of the fun Gecko Galz Group for quite awhile but don't often get to play in their challenges. Fripperies and Butterflies offered a fab collage sheet for free and a fun challenge that I couldn't resist. Made the tag with an image from the Collage sheet and used DP's from Graphic 45 Domestic Goddess. Thought the image begged for that sentiment. LOL Nothin' like waiting 'til the last day!
And another. I adore pin ups! Forgot how much fun it is to create with Collage sheets. My printer is acting funky, though.
