Wicked Wednesday ATC Celebrate the Season Challenge
The new challenge at Wicked Wednesday is Celebrate the Season, sponsored by Jellypark. I have to take my dear friend and WW Blog owner Jenn (and DT member for Jellypark Friends) for turning me on to these stamps and alerting me to the Jellypark Club which is free when you sign up for the bimonthly newsletter. We've had some gorgeous weather so I couldn't quite bring myself to use a winter image for this challenge, but since V-Day was just past and Easter is coming up the end of March, I decided to go sort of double duty using the adorable Jellypark gal with the heart freebie I just got with the newsletter and their 2013 Charity Stamp for the Sick Children's Trust available HERE.
I thought the bunny ears and suit should be fuzzy so I fussy cut those pieces after coloring with Copics, ran them through my Xyron face down and rubbed the adhesive in flock. I was able to tweak the color of my flock by mixing in a bit of white and attached another tiny fussy cut heart to the suit beforehand. I layered the heart in the girl's hand before adding Glossy Accents and added a little to the tiny heart on the suit as well. The sentiment is computer generated.
I'm also entering this in the Glitter and Sparkle Anything but a Card Challenge (it's an ATC), and ATC's With Attitude Be My Valentine Challenge, the Jellypark Friends So Sweet Challenge, as well as the special Jellypark Club Competition from the newsletter using the Charity stamp.

ADFD for Wicked Wednesday
Just under the wire again for the Wicked Wednesday ATC challenge this week. The challenge is A Fairy Happy New Year, too cute! I also wanted to play in the ADFD Something Shiny Challenge so I chose this adorable digi called Christmas Delivery.
She's colored with Copics with Stickled wings and the details on her outfit shine with Spica pens. I first colored the ornament with Silver gel pen and then used Glossy accents to shine it up further. In person it looks like the glass ornaments you pour the floor wax into and coat with glitter from the inside. The DP has foil accents and is mounted on mirror board for further shine. The numbers were cut on my Cuttlebug (again in mirri) from my ancient Typeset Alphabet and I've added silver adhesive beads to the corners. Shiny enough? I sure hope so, but not the easiest to photograph. I rarely say a project looks better in person, but this one truly does.
And speaking of ADFD, you still have time to do their mini blog hop for a chance to win the new January Club Kit which is ADORABLE. Click HERE for deets. You have until Midnight January 10th CST.
I'm also entering this in the ATC's and Cards With Attitude Happy New Year challenge, the Simon Says Stamp and Show Embrace the Old challenge (numbers are cut with a very old Cuttlebug Alphabet), and Sparkle and Glitter with Rick St. Dennis New Beginnings Challenge (hopefully I can enter again with one of Rick's designs).

Wicked Wednesday ATC Fairy House Challenge
I love the whole idea of fairies and elves, don't you? I lived across the street from my grade school and the property included a little woodsy area beyond the playground. I'd peek in the hollows and under the leaves, imagining the magical folks that lived there. I was especially fond of jack-in-the-pulpit plants and even dug some up to replant in my secret garden behind my playhouse, knowing for sure that someone special was bound to move in. I was very excited that the Wicked Wednesday Challenge this week was Fairy Houses. I couldn't find a jack-in-the-pulpit digi, so I used the next best thing. Seems mushrooms are all the rage in the fairy community and this adorable one is the Fairy Fae House from Tiddly Inks. It's colored with Copics and gel pens and popped atop sweet DP from Heidi Grace. I've only recently begun to eat mushrooms, never liking them as a child. Wonder if that's because I didn't want to leave anyone homeless back then. LOL The little fairy on the flower is a rub-on, also from Heidi Grace and I've used adhesive epoxy letters to call it home.
I'm also entering this in the Anything Goes Challenge at ATC'S and Cards with Attitude.

Wicked Wednesday Wing It Challenge Using Stampotique
See, I told ya I'd be back with another ATC for this week's Wicked Wednesday Wing It Challenge. This one uses a Stampotique stamp from Daniel Torrente called Oh My Dear. I did some masking and added some wings from one of the Mini Flying Ladies from Lost Coast Designs. The song lyrics were computer generated and I used Distress Inks on the background and even flicked some watered down reinker with a toothbrush because I'm too chicken to mist like my sweet friend Jenn so successfully does. Left the rubber stamps uncolored 'cause I like them that way. I'm also entering this in the Atc's and Cards with Attitude Anything Goes Challenge, the SDC #77 Let's Get Sentimental challenge and the Stampotique Guest Designer Challenge.

Wicked Wednesday Wing It Challenge
Don't faint, I'm WAY ahead for this week's Wicked Wednesday's Wing It Challenge. Should be decorating but I couldn't resist coloring this sweet little angel, Euro Girl Hazel, from Rick St. Dennis (see, I told you they weren't all creepy). Don'tcha just want to pinch her cheeks? And she's such a bargain at only $2.00, don'tcha think? Anyway, she's colored with Copics and metallic gel pens, fussy cut and popped atop some fab specialty paper that looks like clouds to me. Wan't sure how I was gonna attach it to the iridescent card stock but found this peelie border that did the trick and echoes the lovely trim on her dress. The large stars are Spellbinders dies with a Recollections epoxy sentiment. Teeny adhesive stars are also scattered across the sky. The fab WWDT is joined by some of the Stampotique DT this week and wait 'til you see the inspiration. WOW! Fab prize from Stampotique, too. Hope to make another entry using Stampotique stamps as well and keep my fingers crossed.
I'm also entering this isn the ATC's and Cards with Attitude Anything Goes Challenge, Jellypark Friends Stars are Brightly Shining, and Created With Love Christmas Blues Challenge.

Wicked Wednesday Mythical Creatures ATC Challenge
How about this? I'm actually a couple of hours early for this week's Wicked Wednesday Challenge which is Mythical Creatures. Had lots of ideas for this one, but the final decision came after tripping over a box filled with Stampotique stamps and reacquainting myself with these cute (but sort of creepy) little elves. Thought they should be helping Santa so I went with a Christmas theme. So here are Gog Lin and Gobby Lin (ok, so maybe they're goblins, still mythical, No?) helping with the Christmas candy. They're colored with Copics, fussy cut and layered on a Tim Holtz Journaling Ticket. Fab how that fits like that.
I've added an Philosophy Tag and a teeny candy cane and peppermint. Took me about a half hour to wrap that mint and tie those teeny bows. The eyeballs and manual dexterity ain't what it used to be. LOL Popped 'em up and called it done. WooHoo!
I'm also entering this in the ATC's and Cards with Attitude Anything Goes or Fall/Winter Challenge.

WW Owls ATC Challenge and TOFF Circles
It's been awhile since I've been able to play at The Octopode Factory Friday Challenge but am pleased to see it's gone to bi-weekly so I should be able to get there more often. Their current challenge is Circles and when I saw the Wicked Wednesday ATC Challenge this week is Owls, I decided to combine them. WooHoo! I used 2 of the owls from the Octopode Owls set and stacked them. They're colored with Copics and I've added a hat to the top one that I've cut from the Octopode Dormouse. I created the background by stamping a little plastic container I found in the kitchen drawer with various Distress Inks. Used a combo of alpha stickers and die cuts from the Cuttlebug Typewriter Alphabet for the sentiment.
I added some cute round glasses brads and tiny google eyes to add to their quirkiness. Popped the bottom owl and party hat for a little dimension. There's still time to enter both Wicked Wednesday (ends Tues) and TOFF (ends next Thurs) so what are you waiting for? Even if you can't play aong, the DT's have some fabulous eye candy so be sure to go take a look.
I'm also entering this in ATC's and Cards With Attitude Anything Goes.

Wicked Wednesday Frankie and His Bride
I'm so excited to be a Guest Designer on Wicked Wednsday ATC Challenge sponsored by the fabulous Pixie Dust Studio. The theme this week is Frankie and His Bride, meaning Frankenstein. WooHoo! On my ATC, Frankie's Bride is dreaming of her love, Frankie. I'm pretty sure when they finally get together there'll be lightning! They're colored with Copics with a little Distress and Raindots in the background. Frankie's head was fussy cut and popped a top a lighning bolt sticker. Such a fun challenge. Be sure to stop by Wicked Wednesday and see the fab work of the DT. Thanks so much Jenn for having me, and to Pixie Dust Studio for their adorable stamps. You gotta come play. It's so much fun working in miniature!

Papelitos Anyhing but Square
There's a new challenge at The Papelitos Challenge Blog and it's right up my alley; Anything But Square. As you know, shaped cards are my THING so I had a ball with this one. I had many ideas, but finally settled on Devil. Love his devious expression. Ya know you can't win against the "House". LOL
Devil is colored with Copics, fussy cut and popped a top a shaped card made with my Cricut in Design Studio using the Father's Day cart. The cards are paper pieced. I was a little surprised that the cuts on Father's Day are mostly outlines and to make a blackout base, you have to hide all the contours. (PITA!) Worth the trouble though, because I love how it came out.
The sentiment is computer generated on a hand cut banner with cool skully brads that add to the dimension. There are lots of new images at the Papelitos Stamps Etsy Shop, and now until August 15, it's SALE time! Buy 3 and get the 4th FREE. Visit often, because there is always something new and Cris's eclectic style means there's something for EVERYONE. There's tons of inspiration at the Papelitos Challenge Blog so pop on over and take a look. There are prize winners every week, you don't have to use a Papelitos Stamp to enter (although we love it when you do) and at the end of each month, all those who entered the challenge with a Papelitos Stamp have another chance to WIN! There's even a Freebie to nab on the Challenge Blog and our Facebook Page. We currently have a DT call too and the deets are HERE.
I'm also entering this is the Paper Playtime Hot and Spicy with a Diecut or Punch challenge (oh, come on, ya can't get any hotter than the devil, LOL), Whoopsiedaisy Die cuts and/or Punches, the Alphabet Challenge M is for Men Only, ATC's and Cards with Attitude Anything Goes, Fat Pages and Cards with Attitude Anything Goes, Simply Create Too anything Goes (2nd entry) and Di's Digi Designs No Squares Allowed.

Wicked Wednesday Life's a Beach Challenge
Over at Wicked Wednesday ATC Challenge Life's a Beach so I couldn't resist doing a little quickie with my foot paper clips. I found these babies at WalMart back in 2008 and for awhile I used them quite a lot. You can see those posts HERE. Notice they're blue, 'cause that's what color my toes generally turn in the wet sand. LOL Papers are from the really old DCWV Summer glitter stack, the letters are Sticko. Didn't have any sand so I used some vermiculite. As usual, the DT is fabulously inspirational so pop on over to WW and check it out. I'm also entering this in the ATC's and Cards with Attitude Anything Goes Challenge, Simon Says Stamp Tags or ATC's Challenge and the Simply Create Too Summer/Vacation Challenge.

Wicked Wednesday ATC Challenge "F" is for...
Don'tcha just LOVE ATC's? Working in minature allows a few minutes of crafting time (ok, maybe more than a few, but...) to turn into something pretty darn cute and they're so much fun to make. I had those few minutes and wanted to join in this week's Wicked Wednesday "F" is for...challenge. (Stop laughing Carole and Margie) In my case, F is for friend. I used another of the new framed images at Dilly Beans, complete with sentiment. You can find it HERE and BTW, Megan has a sale going on at the SHOP through July 4th of buy 10, get 10 free. I just loved paper piecing these cute little gals and the frame sized perfectly in my Printmaster Program to work on the 2 1/2" by 3 1/2" card requirement. I'm so glad there's that Saturday Reminder for the Wicked Wednesday Challenges or I might have missd this one. And there's just loads of inspiration from the DT two times a week. WooHoo! I'm also entering this in the ATC's and Cards with Attitude challenge # 17 Anything Goes. Hope everyone is having a great weekend. Where'd our sunshine go?

Wicked Wednesday Mexican Folk Art
I was so excited about the Wicked Wednesday ATC challenge theme of Mexican Folk Art I was beside myself! You all know about my Dia de los Muertos obsession and I've amassed a bazillion images and stamps in the theme, however, narrowing it down to what I actually wanted to USE was a BIG PROBLEM! Well, I finally made a decision and went a bit more generic choosing the Viva la Vida clear stamp set by Danita from Crescendoh.com, celebrating the Mexican folk artist Frida Kahlo. I stamped (actually STAMPED, I'm so proud of myself, LOL) the background using the flower stamp from the set as well as her name and colored with Copics. She is famous for her self portraits (and her unibrow) so I used the face stamp, colored, fussy cut and popped her. Easy peasy, eh? I wish I'd started this 5 days or so ago, 'cause then I could have made MORE! At least I snuck one in. I'm also entering this in the ATC's and Cards with Attitude Anything Goes Challenge #14.

Wicked Wednesday ATC Mermaid Challenge
I am sooo getting into ATC's! Just the perfect little tidbit when you have a few minutes to spare in the craft room. And although working in miniature can have it's drawbacks (in the coloring arena especially)they're just so darn CUTE when you're done. So this week's Wicked Wednesday theme is mermaids. I knew immediately I wanted to use this cutie from Dilly Beans, especially because she looks so perfect with the K&Co DP I immediately thought of when I saw the challenge. She was a bit of a challenge to fussy cut in this tiny size, but nothin' a sharp craft knife couldn't handle. You can't really see how she sparkles, either. After coloring with Copics, I went over her hair and scales with Spica pens.
She's popped above the waves and I've added sparkly acrylic bubbles. Then I punched some shells for the ocean floor with my MS border punch out of textured sand like paper and used Glossy Accents to attach some little beads and of course a pearl to the shell. Popped that too. Me likey! I'm also entering this in My Craft Place Beside the Sea Challenge, and the ATC's & Cards with Attitude Anything Goes challenge.
