Okay, I'm not really thrilled that Blogger ate my last post but I'll do an abreviated rerun just so it's here. This week's Bah! Humbug! Challenge was going Green, meaning either recycling or the color and I chose to do both. The laser cut stocking is from and old Christmas card, the Nesties frame made from Labels Seventeen. I added peelies and beads.
And popped the layers. I'll spare you my disenchantment with the American Crafts foil card stock, (the color rubs off) and all my moaning about my tooth, bescause I'm fine, the surgery took about 20 minutes total, no swelling AT ALL, and I'm eating regular food today after a fab day of ice cream yesterday. WooHoo! Thanks to those who commented on that post. I guess it's lost in cyber space FOREVER. I sure hope that doesn't happen again, Blogger, because I was pulling my hair out! Can't you just leave well enough ALONE!?
This is lovely! Can you believe that I don't own a single nestie? lol
ReplyDeleteHope the surgery goes well...I'm typically cranky when it comes to my teeth! ;)
LOL! I'll be thinkingnabout you tomorrow. Oh, wait a minute....it IS tomorrow already! I'll be thinking about you TODAY! Why am I up at 4:00 a.m.?
ReplyDeleteI love the intricate lacy cut on the stocking. At first I thought it was a cricut cut and wondered how you got it to cut so perfectly. Pretty card, Donna, and I don't see a speck of flaking.
Love all the layers and framing...it perfect. I can't believe your stash of peelies...it's never ending.
ReplyDeleteHoping your sugery goes well! Maybe you'll find some inspiration from it for some of macabre challenges...I'm just saying!
:D
i just love the frame you created on your card and love that boot die cut too! thanks for joining us @ bah! humbug! x
ReplyDeleteA very pretty Christmas card...thanks for sharing. I love Nesties and Peelies too!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your surgery...it will soon be over and you can toast to its completion with another glass of wine!
I hope you are doing OK. I'll be thinking about you with this whole tooth issue.
ReplyDeleteI am lucky, I don't have any wisdom teeth, never did. I always tell my dentists that I'm more evolved (wisdom teeth were the teeth we would get after our other teeth broke, fell out or became useless -- pre-dentists and all that).
Anyway, good to know about that paper. I love your lacy stocking (Christmas stocking, I mean).
oh Donna poor you - hope all is going well - silly tooth letting you down like that.
ReplyDeleteYour card is fab as always and like you I love my peel offs. Some crafters are dead against them, but not me!!!

Commented yesterday Donna and sympathised with your tooth and the card that the colour comes off. Glad to know you're okay.

It totally stinks about blogger. I lost so many comments on my Whimsical Wednesday post. Oh well, things could be worse right. Anyway, love your card. I NEED NEED to start picking up some nesties. You and Margie do such fun things with them. Great job with the recycle challenge.
ReplyDeleteooh blogger has eaten my comment!! i so love that frame you created and fab laser cut stocking too. thanks for joining us @ bah! humbug! x
ReplyDeleteBlogger was obviously a hungry wee monster and caused chaos throughout blogland ... but it'll take more than that to stop us crafters strutting our stuff lol!
ReplyDeleteAnother gorgeous card Donna - the stocking is gorgeous and really pops against the green. Take care of yourself and if you feel the need for any more 'medicinal ice-cream' then you go for it! Thank you for sharing with us at Bah! Humbug!
