ADFD Add a Feather Challenge and Dilo en Espanol Use Black
Okay, tell me she's not GORGEOUS! I recently purchased and colored this beautiful image, ADFD Bewildered B, for the previous ADFD challenge but found I had missed the deadline. The new Add a Feather Challenge worked out even better as I also wanted to combine it with the new Dilo en Espanol challege #5 which is Use the Color Black. I've popped the double mats cut with my new Nesties Labels 20. The top mat is embossed with peacock feathers from the Cuttlebug Animal Prints set. The sentiment is from the Abby's Dilo en Espanol, Muy Agradecido set and means "You're a Beauty". Perfect for the image, eh? The gorgeous die cut feathers are also Spellbinders called Jewel Fantasies by Julianna Hudgins. I found the little dotted real feather on one of my walks and was so happy to use it on this project. This will also be my second entry in the Art With No Bounderies The Eyes Have it Challenge for pretty obvious reasons. LOL Enjoy your weekend, all. We finally have some SUNSHINE!
Just ask to join, the deets are there. (click on the pic) Ends May 31st

I'm so happy you came to visit and share in my crafting adventures. I hope in doing so you are inspired. I would love to hear your comments and I'm happy to share my designs for your personal use, but please do not submit them for contests or publication or copy them for any commercial venture.
I've always loved crafting, even as a little girl. My inspiration was my Daddy who was a wonderful artist and made beautiful 3-D Valentines for my teachers in grade school. Although I love all kinds of crafts I haven't had a real focus since abandoning counted cross stitch back in the 80's. Until I got my Cricut in 2008, that is. I've since expanded my horizons and found a new love in coloring both rubber and digi stamps with my Copics. Now I'm a blissfully retired card maker and papercrafter married 40 (!) years to a wonderful guy with two furbabies, Goliath and Jezebel. Everyday I look forward to dreaming up designs and playing in my craft room. I invite you to share in my adventures.
