Showcasing Zodiac Sign Cancer for Simply Steampunk

Here's my final showcase of the second series of the Steampunk Zodiacs for Simply Steampunk Challenges.  I bring you Cancer.  I think she looks like a dreamer, longing for another place, another time, another life...  The fabulous DP's are from the Graphic 45 Steampunk Spells and I've fussy cut Cancer and the lovely floral Steampunk paper on which she sits.  The plate is also from the same Graphic 45 pad and the lettering from Authentique.

I've colored her with Copics in the same rich colors as the DP.  The metal accents are Tim Holtz and the sentiment plate reads "Live the life you've imagined".  I love that quote.  If only she had the courage...

Please remember we have inspiration throughout the month at Simply Steampunk and our current Monochromatic Challenge runs through October 31st.  Although SBS stamps are no longer a requirement, we'd love to see them if you have them, and please remember it is a Steampunk Challenge so there should be some recognizable reference in your work.
