Beware the Siren's Song

Ok, don't faint.  This is the second post of the day.  Guess I'm on a roll. I'd wait for tomorrow to post this, but there are a few challenges I want to sneak it in so...  I'd mentioned the adorable Mermaids at Lacy Sunshine that I'd intended to use for last week's challenge there but didn't, so I thought I'd color one up anyway and point her a bit towards the Dark Side since the new challenge at Left of Center challenge is LOC/ or Some Element of Water. You know the old myth that mermaids really lure sailors to their death, don't you?  I've used Morticia (available in the New Area HERE) and fussy cut her to sit on Pile 'o' Bones from Delicious Doodles. EEK!

I've colored Morticia with Copics and added pearls.  The bone pile was shaded with blue Copics as well.  The fab digi paper behind is from Smeared Ink's Honor the Dead 8 1/2 x 11" set (it comes in 12 x 12" too) which looked like the depths of the sea to me. I've also added blue RainDots to the background for bubbles.  The sentiment is computer generated and cut with the Fanciful Labels Emboss Plus folder and inked with Distress.
