2018 Cat Lovers Hop Day 4

It's Day 4 of the 2018 Cat Lover's Hop over at Her Peaceful Garden and I decided to go out of my comfort zone and do a bit of REAL stamping.  There are so many fabulous stamp companies sponsoring this Hop that I think it would be fitting to show them that although I mostly use digis, I've actually got a TON of rubber and clear stamps and it's about time I start using them, eh?  Practice makes PURR-fect, after all.

So here's a mini Happy Birthday gift bag using one of the Party Cat Set from Lost Coast Designs.  I'm getting a little more comfortable using real stamps since getting a Misti, but this gorgeously detailed cat stamped purrfectly first time.  YAY!  kept the color scheme sort of gender neutral and the black and white seems to suit the majority of my friends, considering our age.  LOL  The small bags (from Mike's) work well for a number of things, including gift cards.  The Happy Birthday die is from Simon Says Stamp and I punched the paw print in a Pin Point Balloon die cut from Poppystamps.

I'm also entering this in the Lost Coast/Carmen's Veranda Cats and Dogs ChallengeSUYP Furrything Goes/Meowloween Challenge2 Crafty Critter Crazies AG/w Critter (4/5)Crafty Animals #19 AG w/Animals, the DL.Art October Linky Challenge, The Outlawz Festive Fridays Birthday theme...

  1. Donna, The expression on that cat's face makes me think she's not all that thrilled to have her birthday broadcast about! lol Maybe she's facing the big 20 and feeling fat and fluffy. If she is, I can only say I wish I was facing 20!

    1. In human years, me too, but 20 in cat years is like 96 in human years... yep, that definitely explains the face!! lol!

  6. Love this little gift bag and that realistic cat is fabulous!! A big pat on the back for using "real" stamps and getting creative. I only use real stamps because my printer died several years ago and I never got around to replacing it..eek!
