Happy New Year and My Faves of 2011
Happy New Year everyone! Hope you're all bright and chipper this morning, or if not, at least have a good dose of caffeine or hangover chaser in your hot little fist. In any case, if you're sitting bleary eyed in front of your computer, I've got some projects to looks at (albeit oldies, but aren't they the best kind?) Behold my fave projects of 2011. Certainly not monthly for we all know, I've had some "iffy" months the last couple, but a fairly decent representation of my style. I'll can the explanation of each but if you're interested, you can view the original post to get more info. So without further ado...
Yes, I know, LOTS of Cricut. It will always be my first love since that's what got me into this whole crafting scene in the first place and BBTB & BBTB2 have been the driving force in keeping my Cricut creativity alive. And I'm excited to announce that since our BBTB2 team leader Heather is stepping down to assume precious "Grandma duty", my dear friend and longtime DT sister Carole and I are taking the helm at BBTB2. Stay tuned for an exciting opportunity in the very near future.
I'm so happy you came to visit and share in my crafting adventures. I hope in doing so you are inspired. I would love to hear your comments and I'm happy to share my designs for your personal use, but please do not submit them for contests or publication or copy them for any commercial venture.
I've always loved crafting, even as a little girl. My inspiration was my Daddy who was a wonderful artist and made beautiful 3-D Valentines for my teachers in grade school. Although I love all kinds of crafts I haven't had a real focus since abandoning counted cross stitch back in the 80's. Until I got my Cricut that is. Now I'm a blissfully retired card maker and papercrafter married 36 years to a wonderful guy with two furbabies, Goliath and Jezebel. Everyday I look forward to dreaming up designs and playing in my craft room. I invite you to share in my adventures.
