I still can't believe I've completed three! Here's my third and final offering for the A Day For Daisies 300 member CDAC party. I've had so much fun with this challenge. The free images were just adorable (scroll down for my earlier post from today and the first from Saturday) and I actually managed to color two of them today, with Copics, of course. This one is all girly and sweet. It makes me think of a first birthday card because of the single candle so I used the DCWV Nana's mat stack. The image is cut with my oval Nesties and the mat is the Crowned Ovals inked with Smeared Lipstick Distress Ink.
I popped the mat and image for dimension and added punched photo corners (EK Sucess).
The ribbon is from Prairie Bird Boutique (thanks Steph!) and the little bear charm was a bargain from M's and actually has a clip that you can detach and put on a bracelet. Too cute! If you've never visited the A Day For Daisies Store, you must. The images are just precious and there's something for everyone. If you prefer Etsy, you can buy them HERE too. I'm also entering this in The Shabby Tea Room's So Charming Challenge. Now it's time to rest my eyes. We've still not figured out the right contact prescription for both far and near and I have to wear readers over my contacts to color. It's a bitch being old!
Ooh...such a sweet card! Love the pastels! And the little charm! So pretty! :)
ReplyDeleteThat is just so so cute Donna. Love the ribbon and the nestie shape. You colour so much better than me and I have 20/20 vision apparently! lol. Love the cute little bear!
ReplyDeleteThis is just adorable Donna! I love everything about it, and the Nestie you used sorta/kinda looks like a crown around the image! Love it! I'm definately going to have to check out ADFD!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely LOVE your ribbon and charm on this one!
ReplyDeleteOh I need to start playing with my copic.. you are such an inspiration.. this is just adorable. hugs
ReplyDeleteDonna your card is so sweet. I love the image, and I agree with you totally reminds me of a first b-day. The ribbon is gorgeous and how sweet is the little charm. I really really love it because the recipient can take the charm off to have as a keep sake. Makes it so special. I have never heard of this store before I will check it out:)
ReplyDeleteDonna, you always do beautiful work. Whenever I see your name I know it is going to be fabulous, love it :)
ReplyDeleteI adore this card. So pretty and girlie!!

Donna you are too funny to wear readers over your contacts. I don't wear contact but I do wear readers when I color. I guess that is why I don't do it much anymore. This is such a pretty card. Great choice of paper. A perfect match for such a sweet image. Love the teddy charm.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet charm on that card! Thanks so much for joining us this week at the Shabby Tea Room!
ReplyDeleteOh my this is sooo STINKIN' CUTE!
