Warm Winter Wishes

Today I had some fun with Christmas Sweater (only $1.50!) from Bloobel Stamps to enter the Outlawz Tuesday Color Challenge which this week is Non Traditional Christmas Colors (no red, green (no, this is mint) or yellow?)  This was the first time using my sweater pattern Tim Holtz thinlits dies which are individual. Gotta say it was kind of tricky lining them all up to cut the mat, but I suppose they're more versatile that way.   The sentiment was computer generated and cut with Spellbinders Scalloped Labels One.

Here's a closeup of Christmas Sweater.  I can't believe she's only $1.50.  Gotta say that knitting job makes me giggle.  I almost used the sentiment "Thanks, Grandma" instead.  Brings to mind a few hand made gifts from Christmases past. The MIL was particularly prolific.  ;)  I've colored her with Copics with just a smidge of shadowing from Prismacolor pencils.  She was then fussy cut and popped.  No embellies needed.

Now if you happen to see this TODAY ONLY, there's a Gift with Purchase over at Bloobel Stamps in honor of artist Lisa's brand new glasses.  New Glasses is FREE with only a $5.00 purchase.  Thought you might like to know.  You'll receive a code by email to go and grab her. WooHoo!  Can't wait to color her.  If you see this late, or just want her only, you can purchase her HERE.

I'm also adding this to the DL.Art November Linky Challenge, Aud Sentiments Cute + a Sentiment, Crafty Girls Creations ATG, the ABC Christmas Challenge "V" is for Vertical, A Snowflake's Promise Seasons
