`Would you tell me, please, which way I ought to go from here?'
`That depends a good deal on where you want to get to,' said the Cat.
`I don't much care where--' said Alice.
`Then it doesn't matter which way you go,' said the Cat.
`--so long as I get SOMEWHERE,' Alice added as an explanation.
`Oh, you're sure to do that,' said the Cat, `if you only walk long enough.'

My project is a wall hanging and I've used collage sheets as well as other elements from our sponsor, Alpha Stamps. The layered shapes are cut with Spellbinders Grand Fancy Book Pages and inked with Old Paper, Tea Dye, and Brushed Corduroy Distress Inks. The text is a page from Alice in Wonderland where Alice and the caterpillar first meet. The main Alice images were cut from the new A Large Blue Caterpillar ATC collage sheet. I chose the digital download so I could print the sheet multiple times. I selected the two pictures that overlap and printed them 3 times so I could use the pyramage technique and cut them with concentric rectangles, overlap and pop them.
I've spelled out the caterpillar's question to Alice in Alpha Beads. The postage stamp is from the I Wonder Collage Sheet and the caterpillar silhouette is stamped with the fabulous Alice's Adventures unmounted rubber stamp set the winner of this challenge will receive.
On the opposite side I've used another of the postage stamps and a quote from the I Wonder Collage Sheet and a tiny silhouette of Alice from the Alice's Adventures rubber stamp set. Hanging on the side is a Philosophy Tag that says "Wander". After all, any way you go will get you somewhere.
The final stamp is also from the set and cut with Nesties and inked. Alice's Adventures were indeed a journey as the Muse Token suggests.
The hanging is hung from a rod through 2 loops of burlap ribbon. This shot shows the dimension of the piece. I so enjoyed playing with all of the goodies from Alpha Stamps, as did my DT sisters. Be sure to check out each week's posts to see amazing projects using Alpha Stamps' fun and unique products. Talk about a candy store for crafters...WOW! Stay tuned for more Alice projects and don't forget our theme at The Altered Alice is Anything Goes so it couldn't be easier to play along. Remember, EVERYONE is a WINNER thanks to Alpha Stamps!
