Jezzie's Valentine for Daddy

OOps! Almost forgot to post Jezebel's Valentine for her Daddy, a real quicky since she came in all upset last Monday morning asking where her card was. Eiyiyi! Had to improvise because I needed it done before breakfast. Fortunately I had a side step base laying on my table that I'd rejected for my Cuttlebug Spot card. Then I scrambled to find my Hello Kitty Sizzix Bigz die (Jezzie LOVES Hello Kitty). Thought the bee outfit would work for "Bee Mine" and I'd never used it. (Big surprise) Thought the die would be quicker than my Cricut, but not really. You have to sort of cut apart the die cut, which is just one layer, to do any layering but I managed. I added a few Nesties Hearts and a punched one to her hand.
The sentiment was spelled out in Alpha Beads and the hugs and kisses were cut with my Cuttlebug die out of craft foam. (Cuts like buddah!) Jezzie was none too pleased that Hello Kitty was neither flocked nor glittered but I told her Mommy needs more time for that so I appeased her a bit with a tiny amount of stickles on the wings and by using an Action Wobble for her head. Now that she LOVED! (So did Daddy, but he loves anything from Jezzie, even hair balls. Well, maybe not.)

  3. Let me be the first to sign up for the "I love Jezebel" fan club! Any friend of her highness, Hello Kitty, is a friend of mine! Love the card (as Andrea "the Swami" already predicted), and all the thought that went into it and the sweet post.

  9. Oooooo craft foam in the sizzix... love how you always have a new intrigue for me! I'm trying that. PLUS you are the only human I have ever known to spell Eiyiyi. THAT needs to be added to the dictionary. Love it... as for the card... HELLO Cuteness! You made me LO-so-L I woke my lil boy up! lol. Thanks for the giggle.

  10. I couldn't figure out a way to send you an email as opposed to commenting. Thank you for all of the sweet things you said on my blog. You are too kind.

As for the Bah Humbug challenge, I'm ready for the CD one. I've got something in mind already, now I just need enough time to put it together. I'm thinking of a photo holder for a picture with Santa. It would be great for sending pictures to Granny and other relatives and then they could display it.

The T-shirt was loved by the teachers, especially the one that calls my little one a Love Bug.

As for the things I said about your cards, I truly enjoy reading your blog. It is one of my top two or three blogs. First, because your creations are amazing but then because it has so much character. You often make me laugh at the cats. I pictured Jezzie miffed and puffed up over the lack of a card and then swatting at the bobble as soon as the head was working. Then, I pictured her carrying that card out of the craft space with her tail twitching and presenting it much like a dead mouse (or hair ball) to Daddy. I'm not much of a cat person but the whole picture made me giggle.

  12. I love your love for Jezzie and Goliath. I have my own cat thing going on ...Tootie (neighbor's cat) still sleeps in her Cat Condo on my back porch because of their new dog, Crank and Tabby Cat still sleep on my front porch and they dine in a cute bowl and placemat ...now I have a Silver Cat, almost like a Persian. I am officially the Cat Lady who doesn't own a Cat...to which Heidi Sweetface quickly says "you bet she doesn't"....
Love love love this darling Hello Kitty card from Jezzie to Daddy. Hugs

  15. Oh, now could this be any sweeter? Love how you added the x's and o's in foam. I can never seem to get that stuff to cut out correctly. Looks like Jezzie is just as fussy as her mommy when it comes down to the details! LOL!
