#1 Dad Cut File Available

Bet everyone was wondering why there are so few Cricut posts lately, huh? Well I've been working on Design Team stuff for Custom Crops and can't post them here until they are posted there. The difference in these designs is that the .cut files are available for FREE on the Custom Crops site. This means I've cleaned them up enough for human consumption instead of a leaving them a mish mash in Design Studio and have detailed instructions on how to put them together. LOL This one gave me the opportunity to use my Sports Mania cartridge (that I hadn't even opened) and Plantin Schoolbook. Please click HERE to go directly to the article and cut file if you're interested and I would so appreciate you leaving a comment there if you like this design (I secretly think we're being graded. LOL)

I decided since Father's Day is coming up I'd do a few Dad cards although it's really hard for me since losing my sweet Daddy to Alzheimer's several years ago. (Crap I'm getting all teary eyed just typing this) He was and always will be my inspiration; a brilliant, talented, creative man and the reason I have loved crafting since a very early age. He was the #1 Dad of all time.

  5. Great card Donna! He would be proud! I know how hard it is to lose someone to that horrible disease...I lost my beloved grandmother 4 years ago. It was so hard seeing her decline that way. She was always a ball of fun! May your memories comfort you!

Your words about your father were so touching. I lost my daddy to illness several years ago and still get that lump in my throat.
