I was just under the wire for the Outlawz Tuesday Color Winter Wonderland Challenge but had been wanting to color up the cute #1890 Snow Kitties by Sandra Caldwell so I used the prescribed mix of winter blues.
The framing was sort of an accident. In my haste, I forgot that the scallops on the stitched frame actually cut (oops!) and I was left with a funky border on the kitties and separate frame. I messed around a bit and decided to add another frame in blue to make it look a bit more "planned". I kinda like it. The tiny "Winter Wonderland" sentiment is a sticker from Tim Holtz.

Ha! I hate when that happens! but you certainly made it look purposeful. The image really helped; Looks as though those kitties just woke up and are straggling along, so the wonky lines are perfect!
