Bah! Humbug Scarves and Mittens Challenge


Poor Max was ill and Ann is a giddy new Grandma, but the fab guest designers as B!H! carried the torch and brought fab inspiration to this week's Bah! Humbug! challenge which was Scarves and Mittens. Honestly, I've been running on empty and why I decided to do a Cricut shaped card at the 11th hour is beyond me, but I managed. All DP's are from the DCWV Homespun Stack.

It's a shaped front card with all the front cuts coming from Winter Wonderland, welded to the rounded rectangle from George.

Not quite as much dimension as I planned but I ran out of steam. I did flock the mitten cuffs and did a bit of doodling and added some ribbon bows, but that's about it. Note to self: Don't start designing one of these after lunch or it's gonna be a LONG afternoon. LOL Also pretty tough to work on when it's near 100 outside. YIKES! Short post, can you tell I'm dead tired and it's only 8:00PM? I'm also entering this in the Christmas Cards All Year 'Round June Challenge.

    OMG Donna love love this card. All the patterns are just gorgeous and the dimension is fabulous. I love the little bows. The flocking and doodling adds so much to the whole card.

    Donna, this is so precious! I love the wintery gingham checks and country colors. I've been so wrapped up in wedding things I didn't get an entry in again this week. :( But come September I will be more than up to the GD challenge with you! (It is September, right?) Big hugs!

    Ok, I missed out on more than I can catch up with! Without wasting much time....

    I loved this card... And I quickly went through some others... The Gnomes card is super duper cute :) And I also like the one with Bells. Of course, all your shaped cards are unique and outstanding, Donna! :)

    What can I say that hasn't already been said Donna? It's always a delight to see your ideas for our challenges and I am in awe of your talent for making the most beautiful and professional looking cards. One day when I make friends with my craft robo I hope to be able to produce beauties like this ... but until then ... it's pick'n'stick for me lol! Thank you for sharing with us at Bah! Humbug!
