This week at BBTB2 we have a new twist. Besides our usual interpretation of a Cricut cut, we were provided with adorable stamp set from a new sponsor, Technique Tuesday This made it a bit of a tough week because stamping is ALWAYS a challenge for me, and because a stamp is what it is, (and the flourish cut that was chosen) I was a bit limited as to size. I rarely make A2 cards because I like to load my stuff up, LOL, so while rifling through my paper I came across this great design from Me&MY Big Ideas and decided to make a tag instead. After several thousand tries (well not really, but it seemed like it) I managed to get a clean impression of the little deer and faired much better with the sentiment. The flourish cut blended in so much with the DP that I used adhesive pearls (big surprise) to embellish.
Just a bit of popping and a few punched butterflies and there you go. Be sure to stop by BBTB2 to see the amazing projects by my fabulous DT sisters. And certainly we'd love it if you'd play along.

OMG Donna, you would never know you were challenged by using stamps. This is fabulous! I really love your choice of paper and the layering of the flowers is awesome!
ReplyDeleteDonna, you did a fantastic job of pairing the perfectly pleasing plaid deer (like that, huh?) with that paper... LOVE IT! And the flourish flows effortlessly on that pretty bg paper.
ReplyDeleteADORABLE! Love the cut, the stamping, and the paper...so deer!
ReplyDeleteHey Donna! You did a fantastic job. I love all the layering and the colors you used! Thanks so much for all the very sweet comments you left me! Unfortunately my son was trying to help me publish them from my cell phone and he hit reject instead of publish (I was sooo upset!!) He totally didn't mean to and I've tried and tried to get them back but it won't let me :( I just didn't want you to think we did it on purpose. I should have waited till I got home instead of trying to use a little bitty screen! Thanks again they meant the world to me!
ReplyDeleteAnother beautiful job. All the elements go so well together as always. You do a fabulous job no matter what you use. The colors are so nice too. TFS! and for keeping an eye on me :)

Love this Donna. That paper is gorgeous. Love how you stamped your deer on the dp. Stamps are a little intimidating to me too. I loved this Technique Tuesday stamp though. I thought it stamped so crystal clear.
