I have been terribly guilty lately of buying up a storm and then not taking the time to fully investigate the possibilites of each purchase. (Now don't you tell me that doesn't sound familiar. LOL) So I decided to go back and look at some of my fairly recently purchased Cricut cartridges and was I surprised to find these simple ADORABLE shapes on Lyrical Letters. Sometimes it's best to keep it simple (I never thought I'd EVER hear myself say that) but I made a couple of shaped cards using the penguin and frog. These guys go together in a jiffy and were really fun to make. Besides, I'd been asked to do some less involved cards using fewer carts by the readers on Custom Crops so I thought these filled the bill.
Now I have to admit I couldn't resisit adding a little cap to the penguin which is from Pooh and Friends, but I also included a version without so these little cards can be made from just one cart.
